Music, theater, cinema, digital culture and the first open-air podcast gather thousands in the longest summer event From August 14 to 23,
Burgas will become the hottest festival spot on the Black Sea coast. From August 14 to 23, Morska Gara welcomes the first edition of BOOM Summer Fest - a large-scale, multi-genre, ten-day festival that brings together music, cinema, theater, podcasts, family events and much more in one place.
With the ambition to become the new summer tradition of the seaside city, BOOM Summer Fest is the longest summer event, which will give a stage to over 400 artists, performers, actors, musicians, influencers, presenters and creators from various spheres of culture and show business.
The organizers promise a festival without analogues on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
The centerpiece will be an impressive festival stage, equipped with an LED screen and modern multimedia equipment, which will turn every evening into a real spectacle.
In addition to the rich cultural program, visitors will find special areas for food, drinks, attractions and entertainment for the youngest guests.
The legends of Bulgarian rap open the festival on August 14. Then the cult formation "Rubber Heads" will perform a mega concert, which will take the audience back to the golden years of the genre. They will be joined by Bat Ventsi from "Upsurt", Konsa, 2 Litsa, Eva Maria, Danny Dimitroff, Maria Dragneva, Lil Sha, Dimoff and Pametsa. The audience will also meet Misho Shamara - an iconic figure who will forever remain associated with the development of hip-hop culture in our country.
The most innovative part of the program is SEA YOU PODCAST. This is the first open-air podcast in Burgas. Popular faces that millions of Bulgarians follow daily on social networks and online platforms will take the stage. The hosts are Ivka Beibe - she is among the most popular digital content creators. Provocative, funny and always direct, she promises a meeting without a filter and conversations on topics that excite her. She will be accompanied by Stefan Popov-Chefo, one of the most followed podcasters and commentators in the Bulgarian online space, and Assen Kokushev - an actor, popular content creator and presenter who is distinguished by an unconventional view. The event will take place on August 16. Tickets are already on sale.
From "Mamma Mia" to "Dancing Queen" - the magic of ABBA comes to life by the sea in the spectacular spectacle "ABBA Symphonie" on August 17. The impressive interpretation of the unforgettable songs of the hit Swedish group with the participation of soloists Lucy Dyakovska and Militsa Gladnishka, accompanied by the Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra.
Rap sensation Crisco will also have his own evening at the festival with the iconic concert "Old Crisco", which will take fans back to his greatest hits and recreate the energy from the beginning of his career on August 15 at 8:00 PM.
On August 18, the festival will offer “Family Concerts for Connoisseurs”. FO & PEEVA with Mitevi FM Band, Children's Choir “Milka Stoeva”, Taraleshta, STEFETO, K.LINA, DJ BOBY_NOBREAK and DJ Ivo Happy will take part. The event promises music for all generations and an unforgettable atmosphere under the open sky.
More exciting cinema screenings and performances follow, and on August 22 and 23, the dates are reserved for the emblematic TEEN BOOM FEST – an event aimed at the youngest audience.
Favorite influencers, digital stars, musicians and content creators will meet face to face with their followers.
Admission is free. The initiative is implemented with the support of the Municipality of Burgas.
