„Pomorie lake” Visitor center

Pomorie lake is a natural lagoon, located to the north of the town of Pomorie. It keeps a unique ecosystem with specific vegetation and animal world. Its individual natural conditions have gradually become a prerequisite for the formation of Pomorie Lake as an oasis of biodiversity and shelter of a number of rare species and natural habitats. The location of the humid zone along the great migration route Via Pontica specifies the wide variety of birds: over 270 species.
