Ethnographic Museum - Nessebar

The Ethnographic Museum in Nessebar offers a fascinating look into the daily life, crafts, and traditions of the local people during the Bulgarian National Revival period (18th – 19th centuries). It shifts the focus from ancient ruins directly to the spirit of the Black Sea society of that time. The building itself is one of the most valuable exhibits. It was built in 1840 for Panayiot Moskoyani, a wealthy Greek merchant. The house is a perfect example of typical Nessebar Revival architecture.
