World and European Dancesport Championships

Burgas will become the center of world dance sports on September 26 and 27, 2026, when the city will host two prestigious international championships. With the support of the Municipality of Burgas and with organizers KST "Burgas 1975" and KST "Burgas" in the seaside city, the World Championship for senior juniors in the 10 dance discipline and the European Championship for competitors under 21 in standard dances will be held. The two championships will bring together in Burgas some of the best young dance couples from different countries. For two days, the audience will have the opportunity to watch sports dances at the highest international level, combining mastery, elegance, dynamics and a strong competitive spirit. Hosting the two prestigious championships is another recognition for Burgas as a city with established traditions in sports dances and the capacity to organize significant international sporting events.
