The 1749 G.B. Guadagnini violin will come alive in the hands of Mario Hossen, who has conquered stages around the world both as a violinist and conductor. His instrument has been entrusted to him by the Austrian National Bank. He is the artistic director of Bulgaria’s oldest music forum, the Varna Summer International Music Festival, founded in 1926. He has performed with renowned orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the State Symphony Orchestra of Mexico, and others. As both soloist and conductor, he regularly leads the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. The piano will be entrusted to Kristina Miller, who began developing her skills on the black and white keys from a very young age and made her debut as a soloist with an orchestra at just eight years old. A recipient of numerous awards, including the Steinway Piano Award, she has performed with some of the world’s finest orchestras and conductors since the age of 12 and has collaborated with distinguished fellow musicians in the most prestigious concert halls around the world. She graduated from the University of Music and Theatre Munich and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. The bandoneon is the instrument with which Piazzolla elevated Argentine tango to a new level. Bringing it to life on stage will be Claudiush Baran, a versatile artist with exceptional musical sensitivity who has transformed the perception of the accordion in Poland, establishing it as a fully fledged instrument that shapes the world of music. His great passion is Argentine tango, and he was the first accordionist to receive the prestigious Fryderyk Award for his album Astor Piazzolla – Tango, recorded for Sony Classical.
