The fifth edition of "Yerevan in Burgas" brings together children from three countries in a colorful celebration of dance and traditions

On the occasion of the fifth edition of "Yerevan in Burgas - the Children's Festival", over 120 dancers from Bulgaria, Romania and Greece will fill the center of Burgas with music, dance and colorful costumes. The event will take place on September 20 and will present the richness of Bulgarian and Armenian traditions. The festival brings together children's and youth groups that will present Armenian and Bulgarian folklore. The concert will also feature children's folklore groups from the "A. G. Kodjakafaliyata" Primary School, the "Lyuben Karavelov" Children's Cultural Center and the "Prosveta" Children's Cultural Center - Dolno Ezerovo district. The festive program will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a colorful parade from the "Clock" to the "Terrace". During the procession, the participants will make stops along the main street, where they will present their dances to Burgas residents and guests of the city. At 10:50 a.m., a wreath will be laid in front of the "Monument to the Grateful Armenians" on the "Terrace." From 11:00 a.m., the celebration will continue on the open-air stage "Ohlyuva" with a concert, which will begin with a performance by the bagpipe group at the "Prosveta" National Music Hall - Dolno Ezerovo. The Armenian Cuisine Charity Bazaar will also be located near the stage. Visitors will be able to try Armenian specialties prepared according to traditional recipes, and the funds raised will support the activities of the Yerevan 2022 National Committee. The fifth edition of "Yerevan in Burgas - the Children's Festival" will once again bring together the culture of the Bulgarian and Armenian ethnic groups, who have been living in understanding and harmony in Burgas and Bulgaria for years.
