
International Sailing Regatta "Port Burgas - 2026" - Burgas Sailing Week
The upcoming edition of the international regatta X-Yachts Bourgas Sailing Week (April 29 – May 3, 2026) is shaping up to be the most significant one to date. This year, the event will have the honor of officially launching the South Eastern European Sailing Grand Prix – a large-scale sailing circuit comprising four regattas across Bulgaria, Turkey, and Greece. X-Yachts Bourgas Sailing Week 2026 marks the first stop in this new Grand Prix format, which brings together the efforts of leading sailing clubs in the region. Yacht Club “Port Bourgas” is partnering with prominent maritime organizations from the region – sailing clubs in Istanbul, Tekirdağ, and Alexandroupolis. This strategic alliance between the four leading clubs aims to establish a unified high standard in regatta organization and to stimulate sporting exchange between Bulgaria, Turkey, and Greece, positioning Southeast Europe as a highly integrated sailing region. The initiative is supported by the following equal partners: Yacht Club “Port Bourgas” (Bulgaria) Istanbul Yelken Kulübü (Istanbul, Turkey) Tekirdağ Yelken İhtisas Kulübü (Tekirdağ, Turkey) Nautical Club of Alexandroupolis (NOA) (Alexandroupolis, Greece) The organizers from Yacht Club “Port Bourgas” have also announced a new key partnership with the Danish superbrand X-Yachts. The global leader in the production of luxury and performance yachts supports the event through its regional representation for Bulgaria, Romania, and Serbia. This collaboration highlights the growing international recognition of the regatta and its commitment to high standards in the sport. Over the course of four race days, Bourgas Bay will host the elite of dinghy sailing. The regatta is open to the following classes: Youth and junior: Optimist, ILCA 4, 420 Olympic and international: ILCA 6, ILCA 7, 470, Finn “This year’s edition is truly special.
