MAX FIGHT 66

On July 18, the Mladost Sports Hall in Burgas will host one of the largest events of the year - MAX FIGHT 66. Bulgarian champions and international stars will enter the ring, including Borislav Velev - Roy. The professional boxer is returning to the ring in Burgas after nearly two years of absence. This was announced at a press conference by the organizers of the fight night, which was attended by the president of the championship, Lyuben Dzhubrilov, the deputy mayor for sports and tourism, Manol Todorov, Vladislav Georgiev - senior coach of the Levski boxing club, and the competitors Borislav Velev - Roy and Vladimir Georgiev. The championship will begin with a martial arts festival, which will take place from 12:00 on the day of the championship. It aims to popularize sports among young people and encourage them to visit the training halls. Warm-up matches before the professional matches will begin at 17:30. The gala evening starts at 19:30 and will offer 9 matches in the styles of boxing, kickboxing, MMA and Muay Thai with small gloves. In the main match of the evening, Martin Petkov and Turkish star Burak Poyraz will meet. Petkov has 14 victories, 9 of which are consecutive, and is the champion of MAX FIGHT in small gloves - one of the toughest styles in the world. Poyraz is a multiple champion of Turkey, a multiple participant and champion of one of the largest combat sports chains in Thailand. In another spectacular fight, Alexander Nikolaev and Boyan Yanev will face each other. Alexander Nikolaev is a competitor of Warrior Varna. He is an 11-time Republican champion of Bulgaria in Low Kick and K-1, champion of the WAKO World Cup in Budapest after four consecutive victories, bronze medalist of the WAKO World Championship in Turkey. Boyan Yanev is a representative of the Pretorian Fight Team. He is the champion of Germany and vice-champion of WBU Boxing. On Thursday, an open training session will be held with all participants of MAX FIGHT 66. It will be held at MAX FIGHT GYM in Sunny Beach. On July 17 - Friday, at 11:00, the official weigh-in of the fighters will be held on the square in front of the Burgas Municipality building, with free admission for spectators.
