Burgas becomes part of the emotion of the Giro d'Italia with a massive urban cycling event

Burgas Municipality, together with the Burgas Cycling Community and Go to Burgas, invites all residents and guests of the city to join a specially organized cycling event, which will give participants the opportunity to experience part of the route of one of the most prestigious cycling races in the world - Giro d'Italia.

The event will take place on May 9, 2026 (Saturday), starting at 12:00 from Troika Square. Participants will cover the first 6 kilometers of the official Giro d'Italia route in Burgas, the route will take them through key city arteries to the Arena Burgas area, and the finish will be on the terrace of the Sea Casino in the Sea Garden, where a group photo and shared experience will take place.

The ride will not be competitive and is suitable for everyone - children and families, beginners and experienced cyclists. The goal is to bring people together around the idea of ​​an active and healthy lifestyle, as well as to immerse them in the atmosphere of the "pink magic" of the Giro d'Italia.

The initiative is being carried out in partnership with the Municipality of Burgas and was created by cyclists for cyclists, with a focus on the shared experience and safety of participants.

To ensure order and safety, the route will be temporarily closed to traffic until 12:20 p.m., and participants must strictly follow the instructions of the organizers and traffic police.
