Scuba Diving in Sozopol

Programme outline: The programme begins at our centre, where you will put on your equipment and receive a basic briefing. You will then make your way to the lagoon where the diving takes place (located 30 metres from the centre). There, at chest-deep water, breathing exercises are carried out. The session starts at a shallow depth, where each member of the group has the opportunity to test their autonomy underwater. You will then gently submerge and your underwater walk begins. In the lagoon where we conduct our dives, you will be able to observe various species of fish that anticipate our arrival and will come to meet us — an encounter and interaction that makes for a truly unique experience. Total programme duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes, including 40 minutes of underwater time. Safety and an individualised approach to each diver are the keys to achieving our goal — to turn diving into a favourite hobby for those who have decided to explore the underwater world. What will I learn? During the briefing, each participant becomes familiar with the equipment and how to use it underwater. We all know that verbal communication is impossible once our heads are submerged, and for this simple reason we use diving hand signals, which are reviewed before entry. The first underwater dive takes place at a shallow depth in order to master breathing with a diving regulator. Depending on the abilities of participants, the maximum depth ranges from 2 to 7 metres. No prior swimming or diving skills are required. Advance registration is required at least three days beforehand. Additional conditions: Minimum age: 8 years Diving takes place under favourable weather conditions A medical form and risk awareness declaration are completed on site Contraindications: High blood pressure Sinusitis Eardrum problems Opening hours Every day from 09:00 to 16:00
