The most popular location for kayaking adventures in Sozopol is Kayaks Sozopol, located at Mussel Beach, at the entrance to the town. Daily guided tours in the open sea depart from here and are suitable for both beginners and experienced kayakers. The most exciting tours are to St. Ivan Island and St. Peter Island. The classic 3-hour route includes paddling to the islands, visiting the cave beneath St. Ivan Island, exploring the archaeological remains of the St. John the Baptist Monastery, and passing by the local mussel farms.
