“THE HOUSES AND THE PEOPLE – Architectural Stories from Bulgarian Villages”

In 2026, the audiovisual exhibition “The Houses and the People” will showcase remarkable examples of the cultural heritage of Bulgarian villages at five different locations across Bulgaria, with the second stop being in Burgas. 📌 The opening will be hosted on Tuesday, June 2, at 7:00 PM at the Sea Casino Cultural Center, after which the exhibition will travel to Veliko Tarnovo and the villages of Oreshak near Troyan and Novo Selo near Vidin. 💙 The project “The Houses and the People” aims to encourage the preservation of the authentic character of Bulgarian villages and to demonstrate how valuable their often-forgotten architectural treasures truly are. 🏠 The exhibition “The Houses and the People” can be visited in the “Alexander Georgiev – Kodzhakafaliyata” Hall at the Sea Casino Cultural Center from June 2 to June 13, 2026, open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with free admission. The program also includes a conversation with the authors and a discussion on Saturday, June 13, at 5:00 PM.
