The performance turns Vazov's words into flesh and blood, presenting to the audience the forgotten heroes - clergymen, revolutionaries, enlighteners - people who built the Bulgarian national conscience with deeds and sacrifice. The images of Benkovski, Kocho, the Zhekovi Brothers, Kableshkov, Paisii, the Miladinovi Brothers, Hadji Dimitar, Volov, Karadzha and the Shipka Volunteers become symbols of moral purity and idealism, a sharp counterpoint to today's forgetfulness and indifference. With a contemporary stage language, a strong visual concept and emotional acting, the performance raises questions about memory, national identity and the responsibility of each generation towards the past. "Epic of the Forgotten" is not just a historical reenactment - it is a voice that echoes in modern times with a call to remember, honor and be worthy heirs of those who dedicated their lives to Bulgaria.
