The Sand City is under construction! Favorite characters from cinema, animation and video games will welcome visitors this summer

Favorite characters from the big screen, animated classics and iconic characters from the world of video games will take over Burgas this summer. Preparations for this year's Sand Sculpture Festival have already begun, and the first sand pyramids are being erected in "Park Ezero" next to the equestrian center.

With a lot of imagination, talent and thousands of tons of sand, the sculptors will breathe life into the theme "Sand Heroes from the Screen". From fairy-tale worlds and animated favorites to movie characters and characters from popular video games - visitors will immerse themselves in a real adventure among characters who have left their mark on several generations.

The authors are currently preparing their projects and will soon begin sculpting the figures, which this year will also turn the Sand City into one of the most attractive summer destinations on the Black Sea coast.

Traditionally, the festival will open its doors in early July and will welcome visitors until the end of September. The location is well-known - "Park Ezero", where every summer the sand turns into art, and imagination has no limits.

Which characters will come to life this year and which worlds will take us back to childhood or take us on new adventures? The answer is coming very soon.

The Sand Sculpture Festival is part of the cultural events that support Burgas' candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2032.
