See which streets will be closed in Burgas on May 9 and how buses will travel on Saturday

On May 9, Burgas hosts the start of the second stage of the tour. Here is the provisional traffic organization for that day:

In the interval from 05:00 to 14:00, the following boulevards and streets will be completely closed to traffic :

San Stefano Blvd. between Hristo Botev St. and Stefan Stambolov Blvd.;

Stefan Stambolov Blvd. between San Stefano Blvd. and Gen. Gurko St.;

Aleksandrovska Street between San Stefano Blvd. and Vasil Levski Street;

Vasil Levski Street between Aleksandrovska Street and Stefan Stambolov Blvd.;

Probuda Street between Aleksandrovska Street and Stefan Stambolov Blvd.;

Macedonia Street between Aleksandrovska Street and Stefan Stambolov Blvd.;

Tsar Samuil Street between Aleksandrovska Street and Stefan Stambolov Blvd.;

Slavyanska Street between Gen. Gurko Street and Mikhail Lermontov Street;

"Mikhail Lermontov" Street between "Slavyanska" Street and "Aleko Bogoridi" Blvd.;

"Aleko Bogoridi" Blvd. between "Mihail Lermontov" St. and "Aleksandrovska" St.;

Aleksandrovska Street between Aleko Bogoridi Blvd. and Slivnitsa Street;

Slivnitsa Street between Hristo Botev Street and Troikata Square;

"Khan Asparuh" Street between "Troykata" Square and "Slavyanska" Street;

Mara Gidik Street between Vasil Aprilov Street and Slivnitsa Street.

Dimitar Brakalov Street between Serdika Street and Troikata Square is closed until 6:00 PM on May 9 .

The start of the second stage Burgas - Veliko Tarnovo is at 11:55 from Troika Square.

The route passes along the following streets and boulevards: Aleksandrovska Street, Ivan Vazov Blvd., Tsar Petar Street, Hristo Botev Street, Odrin Street, Struga Street, Stefan Stambolov Blvd. in the direction of Vetren District and the town of Aytos.

Starting from 09:00 on May 9 until the last vehicle in the accompanying convoy passes along the route, the following boulevards and streets will be completely closed to traffic:

Ivan Vazov Blvd. between Konstantin Fotinov St. and William Gladstone St.;

Tsar Petar Street between Ivan Vazov Blvd. and Ferdinandova Street;

St. Hristo Botev between Ferdinandova St. and San Stefano Blvd.;

"Odrin" Street between "San Stefano" Street and "Trapezitsa" roundabout;

Todor Alexandrov Blvd. – from the Vladimir Pavlov overpass to the Trapezitsa roundabout;

Struga Blvd. between Trapezitsa roundabout and Stefan Stambolov Blvd.;

Stefan Stambolov Blvd. between Struga Blvd. and Transportna Blvd.;

Road I-9 between Transportna Street and Road I-6 in the direction of Vetren district and the town of Aytos.

At around 12:10, the column passes through the Vetren district, after which it leaves the borders of the Burgas municipality in the Aytos-Sliven direction with its final destination being Veliko Tarnovo.

On 09.05.2026, major road arteries are again expected to be completely or partially closed.

For the specified period of time, the following traffic organization in urban and intercity transport will be introduced:

- lines No. 9, No. 11, No. 12, No. 3, No. 6, No. 32, Burgas - Balgarovo will not be serviced

- after 10:45 a.m. the following lines will run on modified routes:

- from Izgrev - runs without changing the route in the Izgrev complex to Petko Zadgorski Street, then continues along Atanasovsko Ezero Street, Dimitar Dimov Blvd, 24th Infantry Black Sea Regiment St., Demokratsiya Blvd, Bulair Street, Terminal South and continues along the route.
