The month of festivals in Burgas has begun and the city has welcomed you with a rich palette of events this weekend. Concerts, festivals, theater performances and many more exciting events await you.
On August 7 and 8, Morska Gara – Burgas will once again be the scene of the biggest event in Bulgaria dedicated to music from the 90s to the present day. A wave of favorite artists, whose hits are part of the soundtrack of entire generations, will arrive in the seaside city for the Spice music festival. Festival guests can expect not only impressive concerts, but also a rich program of additional activities, surprises and special entertainment zones.
From August 7 to 9 between 11:00 and 20:00, the alley in front of the Flora Exhibition Center will be transformed into a space of creativity, work and inspiration. HANDMADE DESIGN MARKET celebrates 11 years. The number is special for them because it is a symbol of the master, the intuition, creativity and inspiration that stand behind each stand. At the bazaar you will be able to find handmade products from over 40 brands and workshops.
On August 7th from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, a Garage Sale and Bazaar will be held in front of Barbosa Bar. At the bazaar, you will find a variety of second-hand clothing from No Tag Wardrobe, as well as enjoy a selection of cocktails from the bar.
From 6:30 PM, Denitsa Kyuchukova - one of the most recognizable Burgas artists, known for her inimitable sense of humor and ability to turn everyday situations into a comedy show - awaits you in the open space in front of the Mladost Sports Hall. With the assistance of the Burgas Municipality, she returns with her original stand-up show "Recycle This!".
From 7:00 PM, the State Puppet Theater - Burgas invites the youngest viewers to a journey through a fairy-tale forest in the puppet show "Fun in the Forest Grove". The show is suitable for children over 2 years old and promises real fun for the whole family.
At 8:30 p.m., the masterpiece "Giselle" to music by Adolf Adam comes to life on the stage of the Burgas Summer Theater. The ballet in two acts will transport the audience of the seaside town to a world of love and betrayal. The main roles are entrusted to Daniela Turtumanova‐Stoyanova and Emil Yordanov.
At 8:00 PM, the island of St. Anastasia invites all music lovers to a double concert. The favorite rock bands of generations of Bulgarians, P.I.F. and Ostava, will conquer the island and delight the audience with favorite hits and new songs, combining their characteristic energetic sound with the unique atmosphere of the sea and the sunset. There is no place for boredom in Burgas on Saturday! On August 8, Sport Toto Beach Arena will host one of the most anticipated sporting events of the summer – the 9th edition of the International Beach Rugby Tournament KRASIKO Beach Rugby Tournament. Spectators can expect spectacular performances on the sand, as well as demonstrations by talented young athletes.
From 9:00 PM, the musical project “The Fox and the Cats” by Militsa Gladnishka, Nikolay Vodenicharov Niketsa and Ivan Velchev awaits you at the Burgas Summer Theater. Three troubadours, dreamers and book lovers. As a result of the union of their talents, the album “Songs from Great Novels” was born. For two years now, they have been touring Bulgaria and telling their stories.
In the midst of summer passions, Stefan Valdobrev and the well-known Usual Suspects will remind us why August is the best time to be in Burgas. On August 8 at 9:00 PM, the island of St. Anastasia invites you to a concert in which we mix a proven summer cocktail - music, dance and an unparalleled mood.

On August 9, Filip Bukov, Pavel Ivanov, Hristo Padev, Stoyan Doychev and SKILLER gather on the stage of the Summer Theater for a performance that combines stand-up comedy, music and good mood - “Sunday Morning”. You can watch the performance from 20:30 at the Summer Theater Burgas.
The weekend ends with the provocative, daring and unique – Ivo Dimchev, who will offer residents and guests of Burgas an unforgettable experience. On August 9 at 9:00 PM, HashtagPAVILION will host this explosive summer show.
