On May 8, Bulgaria will host the старт of one of the world’s three most prestigious cycling races for the first time – the Giro d'Italia. For Burgas, the occasion is even more exciting, as the city will be part of the first two stages of the legendary tour.
To mark this historic event, the Municipality of Burgas has installed a special photo installation at one of the most iconic locations in the city center – next to the Clock. The frame is branded in the signature pink color of the Giro d'Italia and features the race’s logo and trophy.
The purpose of the installation is to create a memorable experience for residents and visitors, who will have the opportunity to capture this historic moment. Photos and videos can be shared on social media using the official hashtags #GiroBurgas and #GiroinBurgas.
Hosting the Giro d'Italia further strengthens Burgas’s position as a modern sports destination of European significance. The city continues to demonstrate its ability to successfully organize events of global scale.
