The Architectural and Historical Reserve of “Old Sozopol”

The Architectural and Historical Reserve of “Old Sozopol” is renowned for its authentic Black Sea houses, remains of ancient fortification walls, and valuable Christian relics. Sozopol is one of the oldest towns along the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, founded in antiquity under the name Apollonia Pontica. Southern Fortress Wall and Tower Architectural Complex: Located along the southern panoramic promenade, this beautifully restored complex features a museum exhibition, a medieval watchtower, and an ancient well dating back to the 4th–3rd centuries BC.
