Archaeological Museum - Nessebar

Located right at the entrance to the Old Town. It features a rich collection of Thracian, Greek, and Roman artifacts, gold jewelry, ancient coins, and an impressive collection of medieval icons on the ground floor. The permanent exhibition is titled "Nessebar Through the Ages". It traces the history of the town from the Thracian era, through the Greek colony of Mesambria and the Roman period, to its medieval Bulgarian and Byzantine flourish.
