BULGARIAN ARMY THEATER AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATION "ART ATELIER 77" PRESENT "HAMLET" PREMIERE Author: William Shakespeare, Translation: Valeri Petrov, Director: Stoyan Radev Set design and costumes: Nina Pashova, Music: Mihail Shishkov Choreography: Teodora Popova Cast: Ivan Radoev, Yasen Atanasov, Vladimir Mateev, Veselin Rankov, Eli Koleva, Gergana Pletnyova, Vasil Duev-Tayg, Atanas Atanasov, Veselin Anchev, Vladislav Violinov, Tigran Torosyan, Simeon Damyanov, Gergana Dandanova, Anastasiya Ingilizova, Aleksandar Doynov, Stoyko Peev, Kalin Ivanov, Mario Vasilev. How is Hamlet's story possible? Our answer is that it's possible as a fairy tale – ONCE UPON A TIME... That's why we neither bind ourselves to the period in which the play appears, nor seek the specific historical parameters of the described events, nor place the action in our present time. We think that in this case the essence is revealed if we answer the question "when" with "sometime", where this fairy tale "sometime" means always. This approach allows us to experience a truth that transcends the limitations of specific contexts and their corresponding interpretations. "HAMLET" is one of the most famous plays in the world. Probably many of you have heard its bloody story about the young prince who met a ghost, "went mad", asked the universal question "To be or not to be?", whose answer is still being sought today. He killed and was killed, along with all participants in his unwillingness to understand why fate chose for everything to happen. And here we are today – once again faced with the brilliant text, we immerse ourselves in the breathtaking world of Shakespeare's language and with the most sincere feelings we try to reveal to you the answer to Hamlet's question. And so... although our story is nearing its end, that of our poet is not. Because his monument is eternal – not carved in stone, but woven from verses, and will be remembered... as long as words are born from breath, and breath from life! THE PREMIERE OF THE PERFORMANCE WILL BE ON APRIL 27TH AT 7 PM IN THE "TONCHO RUSEV" HALL OF THE "NHK" CULTURAL CENTER. TICKETS ARE SOLD AT THE "NHK" BOX OFFICE.
