Visiting exhibitions during the summer season await you in Burgas museums

If you are planning a trip to Burgas and the region in the summer of 2026, make time for the Burgas museums. In addition to the permanent exhibitions, there are four interesting visiting exhibitions to see.

The Archaeological Museum (21 Bogoridi Blvd.) hosts the exhibition "Sgraffito Ceramics from the Bulgarian Lands 13th–19th Centuries." Impressive exhibits from Tarnovgrad, Rusokastro, Varna, Busintsi, Troyan and Etara reveal the richness and artistic mastery of this art.

Photography enthusiasts will discover at the Historical Museum (31 Lermontov Street) the exhibition "In Front of the Threshold of Mount Athos" by the Greek photographer Dimitris Louzikiotis.

The Natural History Museum (30 Konstantin Fotinov Street) is hosting the exhibition "The Poetry of Stone", which presents an impressive collection of precious and semi-precious stones, including diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires and impressive amethyst crystals.

The photographic exhibition "Anestenaria. In the sacred ecstasy of tradition" by the Greek photographer Dimitris Louzikiotis awaits visitors at the Ethnographic Museum (69 Slavyanska Street).

And this summer, along with the exhibitions, the Ethnographic Museum courtyard welcomes guests to the Ethnokitchen, where culinary demonstrations of authentic recipes are held. Upcoming events are announced on the museum's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/burgasmuseums

The opening hours of the exhibitions during the summer season are every day from 10:00 to 18:00.
