National Thracian Folklore Festival "St. George’s Day"

Bulgarian folk song is a kind of magic that connects us with our ancestors, restores hope even in the most difficult times, and fills us with faith and optimism. Bulgarian folk traditions and customs are carriers of national identity. Their roots can be traced back to the distant past, closely intertwined with history and Christianity. In order to keep our connection with our roots strong and to honor our ancestors, for 22 years the Municipality of Pomorie and the Thracian Society “Odrinska Epopeya” have been organizing the National Thracian Folklore Festival “St. George’s Day”.
