A ban on the use of drones in the Burgas municipality will be introduced in the next two days. The ban will come into effect from 6 a.m. on May 8 and will be valid until midnight on May 9.
The measure is being imposed to ensure safety and public order during the Giro D'Italia Grande Partenza 2026 cycling tour.
An exception to the ban will only be for drones owned by RCS Sports & Events Srl, the exclusive representative and organizer of the international cycling race Giro D'ltalia Grande Partenza 2026, the Municipality of Burgas and the Burgas - 2032 Foundation.
