Burgas Salt Pans

The Burgas Salt Pans represent the largest free open-air spa centre in the country. The area features pools of salt water and therapeutic brine. Every summer, hundreds of people visit the Burgas mud baths and take advantage of their healing properties. The black mud promotes the rapid healing of bone fractures and treats almost all skin conditions, arthritis, herniated discs and a range of other ailments, owing to its high content of calcium, iodine and phosphorus.
