Code name for fun involving the sea, beaches and breeze is ….August! The favorite month not only for the long-awaited vacation, but also for diving into the festival waves. And those in Burgas are really deep and dynamic. The choice is from a beer-themed fest, to a book fair, to the unexcused absences of the Spice Music Festival to the latest BOOM Summer Fest format. Metalhead Beer Fest

When: August 1, 2026 – August 2, 2026 3:00 p.m.

Where: "Mineralni Bani" park, Vetren quarter

Two days, 20 breweries and over 100 types of craft beers await the visitors of the Metalhead Beer Fest in Burgas. On August 1 and 2, "Mineralni Bani" park will host the festival, which this year will also offer a rich variety of Bulgarian and foreign craft beers, a delicious street food area and a music program with popular DJs. This year's edition will gather 20 independent breweries, 10 of them from abroad. In addition to the Bulgarian producers, five of the most popular Romanian craft breweries are arriving in Burgas, as well as representatives from Denmark, Finland, Greece, Lithuania and Latvia. During the two festival days, visitors will be able to choose from over 100 different types of beer.

In addition to the variety of drinks, the organizers have also prepared a rich street food area, where visitors will be able to try burgers, hot dogs, paella, barbecue specialties, fried potatoes and many more culinary delights. The well-known DJ John Katta and DJ Ivo Happy, as well as the Dutch guest DJ And Just-In For All, will take care of the good mood.

SPICE Music Festival 2026

When: August 7 – August 8, 2026

Where: Sea station - Burgas

Morska gara - Burgas will again gather thousands of fans of music from the 90s and the beginning of the new century for two days, filled with unforgettable hits, emotions and festival mood. The special highlight of this year's edition is global superstar Luis Fonsi. The artist of the global phenomenon "Despacito" arrives for the first time on the stage of SPICE Music Festival. On August 7, the audience will meet Thomas Anders from Modern Talking, Jenny Berggren from Ace of Base, Right Said Fred, The Underdog Project, Oceana, Phats & Small and the legendary Leeroy Thornhill (ex-The Prodigy).

On August 8, the festival continues with an irresistible international selection of artists, including global superstar Luis Fonsi, Eurovision 2004 winner Ruslana, Shantel & Bucovina Club Soundsystem, Captain Jack, Rednex, Dante Thomas and Jody Bernal.

With a book on the beach

When: August 12 – August 16, 2026

Where: Alleys in front of Flora Exhibition Center

The festival for readers - "With a book on the beach" will welcome its visitors from August 12 to 16. From 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., publishers from all over the country will be lined up in commercial tents on the alleys around the Flora Expo Center. The program of the event includes meetings with authors, premieres of the latest books, readings of poetry and prose, musical and poetic performances, presentations of children's literature and a number of other surprises.

BOOM Summer Fest

Burgas will become the hottest festival spot on the Black Sea. From August 14 to 23, Sea Station welcomes the first edition of BOOM Summer Fest – a large-scale, multi-genre, ten-day festival that brings together music, cinema, theater, podcasts, family events and much more.

With the ambition to become the new summer tradition of the seaside city, BOOM Summer Fest is the longest summer event that will give a stage to more than 400 artists, performers, actors, musicians, influencers, presenters and creators from various spheres of culture and show business.

Among the names on the scene are Rubber Heads, Crisco, F.O. & PEEVA with Mitevi FM Band, Maria Sylvester and many more.

"Burgas Blues Fest"

When: August 21, 2026

Where: open stage in the Sea Garden (next to " Flora " )

Burgas Blues Fest has a long history - from those that began in the 90s with music, friendships and people who believed that a city by the sea could have its own blues scene. At the beginning of this story stands Plamen Stavrev together with a large community of like-minded people and connoisseurs, who together have grown the festival to unsuspected heights. Then the stage fell silent.

This year, Mariana Dobreva, with the support of the Municipality of Burgas, takes over the baton and the festival returns under the motto "With a song for Plamen". As a sign of gratitude to the past and the one who was called "the soul of the festival", all Bulgarian bands will sing one of his songs.

The program includes: "The Cold Shots", " Atoluka Blues Kartel ", " Harmonic ", " Sakis Dovolis Trio ", " Vasko Krypkata " and " Poduene Blues Band " . The afterparty will be at BARABAR
